IMPORTANT: due to the high number of applications received for the previous editions, candidates who reach the number of 70 points, according to the assessment criteria table, will be directly admitted to the course, by following chronological order.

Applicants to the International Master in European Studies must be proficient in English (a language certificate is recommended, but it can be substituted by a self-certification stating your language knowledge and how you acquired it). It is also required a level of education which corresponds to university studies (of at least three years) attested by a diploma/graduate certificate.

Candidates should submit a formal application consisting of:

  • The application form, duly filled in (click here to download)
  • A copy of the university diploma or equivalent degree (for last year university students a certificate with the transcript of results and grades obtained)
  • A CV in English, in European format
  • A cover letter in English
  • Language certificates or a language knowledge self-statement
  • One passport-size photograph
  • A copy of passport or other identification document

The completed form, along with the necessary documents, should be sent to the European Desk of the Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce by priority post or by email before 20th June 2010. A notification email shall be sent to the address info@europeanmaster.net, in order to communicate the day of submission of application.

The participation fees for the Master in European Studies amount to 5.500 euros.

Scholarships of 2.000 euros each can be awarded according to the merit of the application and the income level.

Each scholarship will be granted based on the applicant’s points according to the assessment criteria and on the applicant’s income. To be considered for one of the scholarships applicants should attach to the official application form the scholarship application form (download here). The application for scholarship shall be submitted together with the whole application to the Master Programme. The Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce retains the right to ask for evidence regarding the student’s financial situation. The amount of each scholarship covers part of tuition fees.

Participation fees include:

•The application fee for the International Master in European Studies
• Didactic material (books, hand outs, photocopies)
• Access to the Library
• Access to the computer room
• Publication of the participant’s profile into the CV book
• Visits to the EU institutions
• Welcome dinner and final ceremony

• Subscription to the Belgian-Italian Chamber of

   Commerce for the year 2011

After sending the application package by post, it is necessary to send an email to info@europeanmaster.net, communicating the date of submission by post.

Alternatively, the application form with the accompanying documents can be sent by email to the address info@europeanmaster.net. In this case ALL documents shall be signed and scanned by the applicant.

The list of the selected candidates, drawn up on the base of the documents received, will be formulated by the Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce and the Institute of European Studies of the University of Louvain. The documents enclosed to the application form will NOT be given back. Personal data will be exclusively used for organizing the course’s enrolments.
