IMPORTANT: due to the high number of applications received for the previous editions, candidates who reach the number of 60 points, according to the assessment criteria table, will be directly admitted to the course before the deadline of the 25th July, by following chronological order.

Applicants to the Master in European Studies must be proficient in English (a language certificate such as TOEFL or Cambridge Certificate is recommended).

They also need to have acquired a level of education which corresponds to completed university studies (of at least three years) attested by a diploma/graduate certificate.

Candidates should submit a formal application consisting of:

  • The application form, duly filled in (click here to download)
  • A copy of the university diploma or equivalent degree (for last year university students a certificate with the transcript of results and grades obtained)
  • A CV in English or French (European format: click here to download in English or in French)
  • A cover letter in English or French
  • Language certificates or a language knowledge statement
  • Four passport-size photographs
  • A copy of passport or other identification document

The completed form, along with the necessary documents, should be sent to the European Desk of the Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce before the closing date (25/07/2008)

The participation fees for the Master in European Studies amount to 5.500 euros.

Scholarships of 2.500 euros each can be awarded according to the merit of the application and the income level.

Each scholarship will be granted based on the applicant’s points according to the assessment criteria and on the applicant’s income. To be considered for one of the scholarships applicants should attach to the official application form the income self-certification. The European Desk retains the right to ask for evidence regarding the student’s financial situation. The amount of each scholarship covers part of tuition fees.

Participation fees include:

  • The application fees for the Master in European Studies
  • The enrolment at the ULB
  • The didactic material (books, hand outs, photocopies)
  • The access to the ULB’s Library
  • The cost of the lesson in Luxemburg (transportation and lunch)
  • The access to the computer room

The list of the selected candidates, drawn up on the base of the documents received, will be formulated by the Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce and the Institute of European Studies of the University of Brussels. The documents enclosed to the application form will NOT be given back. Personal data will be exclusively used for organizing the course’s enrolments.
